Stay informed and unite against COVID-19

With yesterday’s announcement confirming two cases of COVID-19 in Taranaki, we know our communities may be feeling worried and have some questions.

Taranaki Civil Defence Emergency Management Group Controller, Craig Campbell-Smart wants to remind Taranaki that together we are a resilient community and can work through these challenges.

“It’s important that we continue to unite against COVID-19 by ensuring good health etiquette and offering support to friends, whānau, colleagues and others in the community,” says Craig.

“There can often be information overload on social media, including misinformation, and it’s important to remember where to find the official updates on COVID-19, which is www.covid19.govt.nz(external link).”
